Privacy Policy

Your location is used only in your browser to center the map. It is never sent to our servers or stored in the database.

If you enable proximity alerts, your browser continuously tracks your location to calculate, only on your device, the distance between you and community freed-spot reports. No coordinates are sent to our servers or stored: only your alerts on/off preference is saved locally. You can disable this option at any time on the home page or revoke permission in your browser.

For security purposes (detecting fraudulent access), each successful account login is logged: email address, date and time, IP address, and an approximate city and country inferred from that IP address.

This is not a GPS location: precision is generally limited to the city. These logs are accessible only to platform administrators and are neither sold nor shared with third parties.

Connection logs are retained for 90 days. A daily cleanup deletes logs older than 90 days.

We store your email address, display name, subscription status and reputation score. Freed-spot reports are shared publicly and anonymously for 4 minutes, then expire.
